Cypripediums in the Garden Gallery

Here are a few pictures of Cypripediums or Lady-slippers in the gardens around the nursery.

Left to right: Cypripedium 'Michael' and 'Gisela' share a raised bed.  A clump of a couple different large Cypripedium pubescens plants go nicely with Paris quadrifolia.

Cypripedium kentuckiense (Kentucky or Southern Lady-Slipper).

Cypripedium parviflorum var. parviflorum (Small Yellow Lady-Slipper) emerging and in a raised bed.

Left to right: A Cypripedium 'Gisela' hides out in the shade of a cobra lily and Polygonatum cryptanthum (Winged flower solomon's seal).

A bed of Cypripedium 'Rita Alba' a Cypripedium andrewsii cultivar.

A nice patch of Cypripedium 'Ulla Silkens' with some Cyp. pubescens in the foreground

The succession of a Cypripedium reginae (Showy Lady-slipper) from left to right: buds emerging in the spring,

flowers in the early stages, and finally, the plant in full bloom.
