Hillside Nursery began in 1990 in the hills of western Massachusetts, out of a love for and a fascination with woodland wildflowers.  After many years of being a regional wholesale supplier to nurseries and botanical gardens in the Northeast, Hillside now offers its line of Cypripedium orchids and selected woodland perennial plants directly to you for mail-order purchase.

We offer mature, flowering-sized, nursery-propagated plants that are hardy and ready for the garden.  All of our lady-slippers orchids (Cypripedium) are raised from laboratory-cultured seedlings.

We are now taking orders for Fall 2008 delivery.
(Deadline for Fall orders is October 19th.)

We will be updating our website's fall availability in early June and posting new offerings at that time. If you wish to reserve plants now, you can place an order today. Any subsequent orders you place for fall delivery will be combined with your original order to minimize shipping costs.

FALL SHIPPING 2008:
    Fall is our main shipping season and is the time that we have the largest selection of plants available. Over the years we have found fall to be a great time to ship and plant lady-slippers and the other woodland wildflowers we offer. At this time these spring-blooming plants are completely dormant and easily settle into their new homes. We have scheduled the weeks of Oct. 6, Oct. 13, Oct. 20, & Oct. 27th, for fall shipping.
