Hillside Nursery

With attractive purple spotting on the arching stems and leathery evergreen foliage, this plant makes a terrific tall groundcover. The creamy white, tubular, bell-shaped flowers dangle from leaf axils in late spring. We have wintered this species in zone 5 for several years without a problem. Clump forming. Native to China. Grown in 1/2 gallon pots.
Zones 5-7. 15 in. Part shade to shade, moist humus soil.
